Darren Barber and Gary Rudman were in deadly form for Roebuck, both grabbing hat-tricks in their 7-0 drubbing of Chalgrove in the Jack Sadler Cup.

In one of only three games to go ahead in the cup, Rudman grabbed a brace, while further strikes from Craig Carter and Barber gave them a 4-0 lead at the break.

In the second half, Rudman and Barber went on to complete their trebles.

In the Premier Division, last year's champions Star Royal shared the points in a 1-1 draw with Blackbird Leys Sunday. Star took the lead midway through the first half when excellent work from Adam Hamp confused the Blackbird defence, which allowed Matty Phillips to toe-poke the ball home.

However, Blackbird were level within 15 minutes when Chris Fontaine headed home at the far post.

Despite some fine attacking play from both sides before and after the break, both defences were outstanding and when they were breached, either the goalkeepers pulled off fine saves or the woodwork prevented any further goals.

Star Wanderers had to come from behind to secure a 6-1 victory at Rose Hill.

The home side dominated the first half, and fully deserved to go into the lead, courtesy of Michael Bateman's goal after 18 minutes.

However, ten minutes before the break Michael Dove swooped to power home the equaliser.

Five minutes later, Dove's penalty was saved, but Craig Simpson tucked home the rebound .

Expecting a fight back from Rose Hill in the second half, Star were surprised when the home side resorted to spoiling tactics and took full advantage.

Tom Jerred converted a Simpson corner to further increase Star's lead, then Simpson chipped the keeper after a fine run.

On the stroke of full time, James Butler ended a superb run with a cross that Jerred converted for 5-1.

A minute into injury time, Jerred was again on the mark as he completed his hat-trick when he lobbed the keeper.

In Division 4 no one seems to be able to prevent The Nelson cruising to the title as they brushed aside Cowley Rovers 8-0.

Once again, it took visitors Nelson most of the first half to settle, but in the last five minutes, 16-year-old Aaron Armstrong broke the deadlock, with captain Liam O'Callaghan driving home from 30 yards and an own goal saw them to a 3-0 interval lead.

A second half brace from Stephen Walsh, a Dean Simms volley and two more from O'Callaghan with his hat-trick completed the rout.

The League has issued a warning that any home sides who fail to contact both visitors and referees, in accordance with the rules, will be fined.
