A new manager has just been appointed at Didcot Parkway station.
John Britton has taken charge at Oxfordshire's busiest station, used by more than 3,000 people a day. It has not had its own manager for seven years.
Passengers and councillors have had difficulty finding anyone willing to investigate complaints.
Mr Britton, 32, who formerly worked for the Prudential, has been appointed by First Great Western train company, which leases Didcot Parkway from Railtrack, to oversee the station.
"I am looking at my job from a passenger's point of view," he said.
Mr Button said he and his staff of 15 would be available to discuss any problems.
