Plans will be unveiled next week for Didcot's third new health centre.
Following the relocation of the Mereland Road Centre to the new Woodlands Centre next to Didcot Hospital, and the completion of the new Oak Tree Centre, Ladygrove, a new health centre is planned as part of the £35m Orchard Centre shopping development. It will replace the cramped conditions for the town's largest GP practice at Didcot Health Centre in Britwell Road and its satellite Asbury Centre, Ladygrove.
After a survey, many of the patients' ideas have been incorporated into plans for the new centre -- which will be displayed at a meeting of the patients' group at Britwell Road on Thursday next week at 7.45pm.
Brenda Soper, chairman of the patients group, said: "Patients will be able to air their views with Dr David Ebbs and colleagues."
