The former wife of East End gangster Ronnie Kray told students at the Oxford Union last night that the class system in Britain holds people back. Kate Kray, a Channel 5 presenter and author of ten books, said it was the driving ambition to learn and to succeed that was the backbone of British society, not the class system.
