Parents are invited to a new project to teach them how to educate their children.
The Donnington Doorstep Family Centre in Townsend Square, east Oxford, is running Keeping Up With Kids to show parents how to help their children learn to read and write before going to school.
Parents are shown the ways that under-fives learn to communicate by example, body language, drawing and touch.
The free sessions are on Tuesdays, from 9.45 to 11.45am, and a creche is provided.
