A charity is teaming up with Carterton Town Council to launch an open gardens day in the town.
The event, on July 14, is one of four fundraising activities so far lined up by the west Oxfordshire branch of Save the Children for the coming year.
Branch press officer Graham Evans said: "There are some wonderful family gardens in Carterton.
"This is great chance to share them with others and raise money," he added.
The branch has also organised a race night and auction at Carterton Community College on March 1, at 7.30pm.
Charity volunteer Dorrie Stroud is organising a house-to-house collection between April 28 and May 4. Helpers can call her on 01993 704835.
On May 6, the Carterton May Day Fair and car boot sale will be held at the town's recreation ground.
