A two-week festival promoting science and technology ended with workshops for all the family at Oxford Upper School this week.
Family Science Sunday, organised by education charity the Oxford Trust at the Glanville Road school, saw hundreds of people take part in activities.
Five workshops offered families the chance to learn together about colour, solids and liquids, fossils, products made from plants, and tubular sculptures.
Event manager Anne Lechelle said: "About 400 people turned up. It was a very good day. Almost all the sessions were full."
Other events during the festival included activities for shoppers at Templars Square shopping centre.
The trust also runs science projects for schools.
