A 61-year-old grandmother from Oxfordshire has passed the half-way mark in a fundraising trek from Land's End to John O'Groats.
Daphne Samworth, of Sutton Wick Lane, Drayton, near Abingdon, was on course to cross the Scottish border, with 520 miles already under her belt.
Mrs Samworth is confident she will collect at least £3,700 in sponsorship for Douglas House, the new east Oxford respite care centre.
