A man facing explosives charges following a suspected animal rights attack on an Oxfordshire abattoir is to face further charges.
David Blenkinsop, 35, appeared before Oxford Crown Court yesterday on 10 charges relating to the attack on Mutchmeats in Witney, on May 21, 2000.
Blenkinsop, of Horsted, West Sussex, faces charges of arson and attempted arson, conspiracy to cause explosions, and possession of an article with intent to commit arson.
Judge Anthony King adjourned the case until May 15 to allow the prosecution to lay further charges relating to similar offences alleged to have been committed in Cambridgeshire at about the same time in 2000.
