A man charged with the attempted murder of the woman he was living with has been remanded in custody.
James Childs, 39, appeared before Oxford magistrates yesterday, accused of trying to kill Stephanie Dix at their home in Champion Way, Littlemore, last Monday.
The case was adjourned until a hearing at Oxford Crown Court next Monday and Childs was remanded in custody.
