Witney United club have named the little-known Ian Feaver as the manager for their inaugural season.
United have been formed out of the ashes of Witney Town, and will use their facilities at Marriotts Stadium.
The 39-year-old Feaver, whose playing career was ended by a knee injury, took up management with Beaconsfield United (now Beaconsfield SYCOB) in the London Spartan League ten years ago
Feaver, who moved to live in Kirtlington last year, said: "I want to get back involved in football at a decent level. There is a lot of tradition with the old Witney Town club.
"But I see this club as a clean sheet of paper and a fresh challenge. It is clear they are ambitious."
Feaver has brought in John Nolan as his first-team coach. Nolan is currently the under 17 coach at Wycombe Wanderers
He has spent four years at Adams Park, and previously worked under Ray Wilkins at Queens Park Rangers and Fulham.
