A teacher who enjoys playing the guitar and mountain climbing has become headteacher of a Bicester primary school.

Paul Harrison has been acting deputy head since last September, when the former headteacher left and the school was put on special measures after being heavily criticised by Ofsted inspectors.
Mr Harrison said: "This is a tremendous place to be, a wonderful opportunity for a headteacher. The children are an amazing bunch and all the staff are wonderful."
Mr Harrison hopes the school will be out of special measures before the usual two-year term.
