The students from Esther College, in Hong Kong, spent a day at Oxford College of Further Education, in Oxpens Road, on Wednesday, April 17.

They showed off their different ideas and skills about European skin and make-up.

Carole Nyssen, curriculum manager for hairdressing and beauty therapy at Oxford College, said: "The day has been extremely interesting and beneficial for both students and staff. We look forward to establishing a learning partnership with Esther College that will offer an on-going two way exchange of skills and creativity."

An exchange programme for beauty therapy students from Oxford with Esther College is on the cards.

Initially Esther students will come to Oxford for training in 'European skin and make-up techniques'. This will be arranged on a block release basis and is due to begin in September.
