Oxford Cheetahs can expect one of their biggest crowds of the season as Coventry Bees buzz into town for the Sky Sports Elite League clash at Oxford Stadium tonight (7.30).

With a string of inconsistent results behind them, Cheetahs promoter Vanessa Purchase is looking for better things, particularly at Sandy Lane.

"We must win our home matches first and foremost," she said. "All the team know what is required and the management team are working tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure everything that can be done is being done."

With the injured Brian Andersen likely to be out for a couple of weeks yet, Cheetahs will once again operate the rider replacement facility to cover for him.

The management have also looked at the riding order of the team. Steve Johnston will move to the No 2 position and Ales Dryml will switch to No 4, where he will partner his younger brother Lukas.

Team manager Colin Meredith explained: "We have seen how well they ride together and we all believe that they will bring out the best in each other, which is vital for the team to succeed".

Coventry will also be operating rider replacement for the injured Stuart Robson.
