Police are no closer to knowing the whereabouts of a mother and her two young daughters who are missing from their Oxfordshire home.

Jane Wheeler, 41, and her two daughters, Kia, eight, and Matira, ten -- pictured from left to right -- were reported missing by her estranged husband on April 13.

The children were last seen at their grandmother's home in Axminster, Devon, on April 6.

Mrs Wheeler was last seen at her home address in Whitchurch Hill, south Oxfordshire, at 5.15pm, on April 12.

Acting Sgt Tim Digman, of Didcot police, said: "As well as relatives in Devon, she has relatives in Watford and Bath, so it's possible that they may be staying at a women's refuge in these areas.

Mrs Wheeler is described as about 5ft 9in, of a heavy build with brown hair, which she often wears tied up. She has access to a red D-reg Renault 5.

Kia is about 4ft 6in, slim with long brown hair while Matira is about 5ft, slim with long brown hair that she normally wears tied back.
