Talented Amy Lawson has joined the English National Ballet to dance in Swan Lake next month at the Royal Albert Hall.
Miss Lawson, 20, of Aston, near Witney, started dancing at the age of six with the Jill Stew School of Dancing in Witney.
At 16, she successfully auditioned for the prestigious Central Ballet School, and has been gaining more experience with the National Ballet of Marseille in France.
"It was a very good learning experience and I made some great friends," said Miss Lawson, who was a pupil at Witney's Henry Box School.
She is now rehearsing for Swan Lake, which opens on June 12 and runs for 10 days.
