The first stage of a new Oxfordshire business park is close to completion.

Langford Business Park at Kidlington will provide 96,400 sq ft of high quality air-conditioned office buildings on two sites.

The first, fronting Langford Lane, includes two detached buildings -- Endeavour House and Bannister House. They will provide high quality accommodation, with units of up to 36,400 sq ft. The second site will cater for the individual needs of companies in buildings of up to 60,000 sq ft.

The design of the buildings, on the second site, takes full advantage of the Oxford canal providing workers with an attractive working environment.

Reg Green, joint owner of developers Langford Developments Limited, is no stranger to building in Oxford.

He recently completed a £3m industrial development nearby, and in the last 15 years projects have included Isis House in Cowley, an office development at Thames Court in Watlington Road, Oxford, and four new buildings at Walbrook Court, Oxford.

He said: "In choosing the Langford Business Park location I have been mindful of the needs of businesses.

"Communication is all important, coupled with ease of access and an environment to attract and retain key staff. All these we were able to enjoy, and provide, at Langford."

Meanwhile, the Isis Business Centre in Horspath Road has been sold for more than £2.8m.
