Bright lights and a camera crew followed schoolgirl Emma Adams, 15, for a day to make a television programme.
Emma Adams
Emma, of Banbury Road, Bicester, took a day off from Banbury's Blessed George Napier School to feature in a new BBC series, to be shown later this year, about how children in different countries spend their time and keep in contact with each other.
Her mother Elaine said: "Emma keeps in touch with her cousin, Sophie, 12, who lives in Gibraltar.
"The girls are in regular contact through e-mail letters and, of course, see each other when we have family holidays in Gibraltar."
The idea of the two girls taking part came from Sophie's mother, who is a BBC representative in Gibraltar and works for the Rock's television station.
Emma was filmed at her home in Bicester and getting her hair cut at Francine's salon, in Bucknell Road.
Cameras also followed her shopping at Bicester Village.
Mrs Adams said: "Emma's thrilled. She hopes it will make her a star."
