Staff at a special school in Wantage have been given a well-earned pat on the back from the Government for the expert help they offer their pupils with learning difficulties.

For the second year running, the Fitzwaryn School in Denchworth Road has attained a School Achievement Award from the Department for Education and Skills.
This has resulted in a £7,600 handout which will be shared out between staff who worked there in the academic year 2000/2001.
Headteacher Marion Tighe, said: "I'm very proud of everybody, and I am delighted to have our success celebrated."
