The search is on for the most creative gardener in Wallingford as the town council launches its most interesting front garden competition.
Organiser and town councillor Denis Strange said there were many well-kept gardens in the town, but more of them should be entered for the annual contest.
Last year, only a handful of people took part.
Mr Strange said: "We hope to go round the town encouraging more people to enter. There are some beautiful gardens but for some reason people don't take part. The prizes are certainly worth having."
