Colourful costumes are being created by children at East Oxford First School in preparation for the second Cowley Road Carnival.

The children, dressed in rainbow-themed costumes, will feature in the procession at the event on Sunday, June 16.
The procession will move from Cowley Road to St Clement's, then to Union Street and back to Cowley Road during the festival.
Costume-making workshops are being held on Mondays at the Asian Cultural Centre, in Manzil Way, from 7pm to 9pm; on Saturdays at The Pegasus Theatre, in Magdalen Road, from 4.30pm to 6.30pm, and on Sundays at East Oxford Community Centre, in Cowley Road, between 7pm and 9pm.
