Age Concern has launched a series of open forums to hear the concerns of older people in Oxfordshire.
The first forum was held in Kidlington.
Residents said their priorities were improved access to equipment to help people to stay independent in their own homes, and more support for people after they were discharged from hospital.
Mary Daniels, director of Age Concern, said: "The services we provide for older people are simply better when we listen to older people's views.
"The forums provide us with a vital opportunity to listen and we hope that as many people as possible come.
"We can promise that we will work really hard to act on what people say."
Forums will be held in the district council offices, Crowmarsh Gifford, on Thursday, May 16, The Ridgeway Room, Wantage Civic Centre, on Thursday, May 23, and the Gallery Room, Corn Exchange, Witney, on Thursday, May 30.
All meetings take place from 2pm to 4pm.
