The parents of a missing 13-year-old have spoken of their relief that she has been found safe and well.
Jill and John Turner pleaded for the safe return of Julie, who was believed to be staying with her 20-year-old boyfriend, Peter Adams.
The couple, of Bernwood Road, Barton, Oxford, say Mr Adams is too old to be having a relationship with Julie, a pupil at Bayswater Middle School.
The teenager first went missing on Friday, April 26, but was reunited with her family the following Wednesday after she and Mr Adams were picked up by police.
She disappeared a second time shortly afterwards, leading her parents to believe she had gone back to Mr Adams, who is from Didcot, but currently of no fixed address.
As reported in the late edition of yesterday's Oxford Mail, police traced Julie to a flat in the Cowley area. Mr Adams was at the same address on Wednesday.
That night her parents and the rest of their family had a tearful reunion with their daughter, who is now in foster care.
Mr and Mrs Turner also took along Julie's younger sister, Laura, 10, brothers Ben and William, aged seven and six, and their six-month-old son, Jason.
Mrs Turner said yesterday:"It was a great relief to see her and that she was well, and a relief that she's no longer with him. There were a lot of tears from all of us.
"It was just so good to see her, and I don't ever want to have to go through that again.
"I don't know where we go from here because we are still dealing with the social services."
