OXFORD greyhound trainer Paul Walden has been banned from sending out runners at Sandy Lane over the past week, following a dispute with the racing office.
Although the stadium were non-committal on the exact offence committed, I gather he was suspended for failing to bring a greyhound for last Friday's BAGS meeting.
Racing operations director Gary Baiden said: "I had a meeting with Paul Walden on Saturday when the matter of a contract dispute was aired.
"The matter has now been resolved and he will have runners again on the card tonight."
Walden wished to make no comment over the decision, but it's believed he's lost at least £700 in income over the week.
