GARSINGTON'S Mick Nash has been selected to play for Wales in the Home International Over 50 Squash Championships in Dublin on May 17-18.
Nash, pictured, was worried he would miss the tournament because of an injury which meant he was unable to train between September and February.
However, the 51-year-old, who last represented his country three years ago, battled his way back and proved his fitness in front of the selectors in Cardiff last weekend.
Nash, who plays for Wallingford, said: "I am delighted to be selected again as I thought I would miss out. This has been a fantastic booster after proving to the selectors I was getting closer to full fitness."
A worker at Unipart Group, Nash is coached by Oxfordshire No 1 Scot Handley, who is currently ranked among the top 20 squash players in the country.
