Four people have been given Good Citizen awards by Bicester's outgoing mayor, Lawrie Stratford, in recognition of their voluntary contributions and service to the community.
Mary Daniels, of Fringford, received the award for 20 years' work with Bicester Talking Newspaper.

Although retired, Mr Taylor still actively supports the Red Cross and gives therapeutic care to clients at the Bicester Day Centre in Launton Road.
He also helps with blood donor sessions.
Phil Cadle, of George Street, was rewarded for service as a part-time firefighter. He served 37 years as a firefighter and 13 years as officer in charge of the fire station in Queen's Avenue.
