A service at St Paul's Cathedral, in London, to celebrate the Queen's Golden Jubilee will be shown live at St Mary's Church, Banbury, on a giant TV screen.
Afterwards, the congregation will enjoy a picnic in St Mary's churchyard.
The service, on Tuesday, June 4, starts at 11.30am, but St Mary's will open at 10.30am to show coverage of guests arriving at St Paul's.
The priest-in-charge of St Mary's, the Rev Janet Chapman, said: "We're delighted to be joining in the service in such an active way. Special leaflets have been printed so that the Banbury congregation can join in the hymns."
St Mary's has just been renovated. Mrs Chapman said: "The golden scrolls at the tops of the columns were regilded thanks to a grant from the Oxfordshire Historic Churches Trust which was given to mark the Queen's Golden Jubilee.
"It seems fitting, therefore, that we can host the national service in this way."
Admission to the service will be free, but a retiring collection will be taken.
