Carterton Rangers were crowned Giles Sports Witney Boys League Under 13 A champions, after a thrilling penalty shoot-out victory in their play-off match with Chesterton at Eynsham.
After both sides had finished their league campaigns with 53 points, the title was decided in a one-off match that went right to the wire.
Chesterton took the lead after 23 minutes, when top-scorer Chris Betreen took advantage of a slip by a Rangers defender.
Chesterton had the better of the game for the opening of the second half, before Rangers started to create chances.
However, they were continually frustrated by a combination of the Chesterton defence and goalkeeper.
But a minute from time, Rangers were awarded a free kick, and Bradley Bryant hit a superb shot into the corner of the net to take the match into extra-time.
Rangers dominated, but were unable to conjure up a winner and the game went to the dreaded penalties.
With Chesterton missing four of their five attempts, it was Rangers who held their nerve and deservedly claimed the title for the third time in four years.
