Oxford Cheetahs' Czech Republic star Ales Dryml is through to the next round of the Grand Prix qualifiers.
Dryml finished sixth with ten points in Slovenia on Saturday behind winner Charlie Gjedde, who emerged top of the pile with 14 points.
Meanwhile, Cheetahs will be in a better frame of mind when they travel to Kirkulmshire Lane tonight to take on Belle Vue in a Sky Sports Elite League clash.
There was sighs of relief all round as Cheetahs came late to snatch the spoils 46-44 against Poole at Cowley on Friday night.
However, although the Aces are sitting on the bottom of the league with Oxford just two places above them, the Manchester outfit must not be under- estimated.
Leading the side will be world championship contender Jason Crump, and when you add Jason Lyons, Sam Ermolenko and Brian Karger to the line-up, you have a quartet capable of winning anywhere on their day.
Only yesterday they announced that Kai Laukannen would be returning in place of Matej Ferjan.
Cheetahs will again go into this battle without Brian Andersen, due to undergo a scan on his neck and back this week. They will use rider-replacement instead, but Ales Dryml will be back after his world championship qualifier.
It's been a happy hunting ground for Cheetahs No 1 Leigh Adams, who has hit an 18-point maximum and his battles with Crump should be worth seeing.
The Aces come back to face Cheetahs at Sandy Lane on Wednesday, before Oxford travel to Peterborough on Friday night on the eve of the Grand Priz without Adams, Lukas Dryml and Andersen.
