Banbury brothers Adam and Jamie Derbyshire stepped up their bid for the Radical Enduro Sportscar Championship with a sensational win at Spa Francorchamps in Belgium.
The result puts the duo just two points behind championship leaders Shaun Balfe and Nigel Taylor, with eight rounds of the 13-race series still to go.
Adam, 27, said: "This was the first time we've ever raced at Spa and it really is an awesome track. It's rare for anyone to win there in their first race so we turned quite a few heads."
The Radical Enduro Championship is a one-make, two-driver series which tests strategy and slick pit work every bit as much as driving skills.
The Spa round was made up of two 60-minute races. In the first, Adam Derbyshire, driving the Spirit Volkswagen car in the Radical works team, was in third place when brotherJamie took over.
Jamie took the lead, but the race was red-flagged, leaving the team in second place by a tenth of a second.
