Revellers enjoyed the weekend sunshine at the Rose Hill Family Fun Day, held at the ward's recreation field near Ashurst Way. Money raised will go to local community groups.
The success of the event will boost the run-down area, which is losing out on vital regeneration money because it is linked with richer neighbour, Iffley.
Among the attractions were a children's fair, a bouncy castle, and five-a-side football.
Ed Turner, city councillor for the Rose Hill ward, said: "There were a lot of people from the estate around, and everyone really enjoyed themselves."
