A centre for mothers and toddlers in Carterton has received help from the Oxfordshire Community Foundation.
The foundation has given £494 to the St John Drop-In Centre, which will be used to buy a shallow inflatable pool, in a car shape, filled with brightly coloured balls for young children.
Volunteer Margaret Billings said: "The children look forward to our very own ball pool, which will be tremendous fun."
The director of the foundation, Emma Tracey, said: "We are delighted to contribute towards this valuable group. We try to focus our grants on small, grass-roots, community organisations, which are making small, but significant differences to people's lives."
