Banbury Town Council has commissioned a commemorative mug to mark the Queen's Golden Jubilee.

A suggestion by Jan Justice for a commemorative gift to pass on to children and grandchildren was agreed.
Working with deputy mayor Rosemarie Higham, she decided on the mugs, which feature Banbury's coat-of-arms.
The two town councillors with the mugs, which cost £4.50 each.
