The head of a company which wants to expand in Wallingford and bring in 100 jobs is to meet the town council.
The company, formerly the Commonwealth Agricultural Bureau, already has 250 employees at its site alongside the southern bypass. Dr Denis Blight wants to close his premises in Egham and Ascot in Surrey and bring everything under one roof on the 32-acre site in Wallingford.
He wants co-operation from the local councils over the company's expansion plans. He has already spoken to South Oxfordshire District Council.
CAB International collates and publishes environmental research worldwide and conducts plant experiments.
Dr Blight said he knew his premises were in a sensitive area and that new buildings would need to fit in.
He said: "We are aware that this is an area of outstanding natural beauty and it is against our ethos to do anything to harm the environment."
