A boys' independent school near Wallingford has been given a glowing report by Government inspectors.
An Ofsted team praised Moulsford Preparatory School's high quality teaching and pastoral care. The inspectors also praised pupils' attitude to work and their behaviour. Their report said: "The standards pupils attain by the time they leave the school are high in all subjects and the school has every reason to be proud of its pupils' overall achievements.
"All pupils, including those who board, are well cared for and looked after."
The school's headteacher, Mike Higham, said he and his staff were all absolutely delighted.
He added: "It endorses all the school has striven to achieve over the past few years."
Mr Higham said the report also highlighted areas that would help the school improve still further.
The 225-pupil school is now planning to improve administration and provide extra resources, as recommended.
