Former England star Sue Wright, from Thame, is starting a new coaching institute in Bicester, designed to provide support for up-and-coming players.
The Sue Wright Squash Academy will be launched next month, and will provide a specialised squash environment, offerering expert knowledge, skill and support.
Wright, the four-times national champion, represented England from 1989 until her international retirement in 2001 and is hoping her new initiative will push promising players right to the top.
"I want to give up-and-coming players the opportunity to achieve as much as they can, with a support network to enable them to do all the right things to give them the best chance in the future," Wright said.
"We want our players to have a voice, so that they can have a say in the direction they want to take.
"I hope we will be able to work closely with the governing bodies - naturally, our aim is to produce players who will ultimately play for their countries.
"I want the Academy to produce and promote professional, fair, competitive players in all aspects of their on and off-court behaviour. It is important to be professional, no matter what age."
Wright will be assisted by England's Jenny Tranfield, who is currently ranked in the world's top 20.
