A bright pink spiral sculpture is on display at Oxford University's Said Business School for Artweeks.
Alison Berman
The 12ft-tall wooden geometric sculpture was created by mature art student Alison Berman and will greet visitors in the foyer until the end of May.
Mrs Berman was inspired by the geometric number sequence that forms spirals in snails, elephant trunks and pine cones, discovered by 12th century Italian mathematician Fibonacci.
Mrs Berman, a second year Abingdon and Witney College art foundation student, used eight wooden boxes to make it. She said: "It's painted a feminine pink colour to counteract the straight, masculine shape of the sculpture."
