The small town of Charlbury is lining up a variety of events for its fifth summer festival.
It runs throughout June and includes a wide range of musical styles, theatre, dance and activities for children.
The Riverside Festival of live music from local bands, around which the whole festival has grown, takes place alongside the banks of the River Evenlode over the weekend of June 22 and 23.
Festival co-ordinator Kath Lucas said: "This year we're delighted to see both familiar faces and new events, and we appreciate the effort they've made to create a dynamic and varied programme."
A flower festival to mark the Queen's Golden Jubilee is being held in St Mary's Church and gardens in the town will be open to the public.
There are also special arts workshops, including printmaking and singing.
Music events range from South African jive and jazz to a female vocal ensemble and 60s, 70s and 80s disco.
Actor Freddie Jones, who lives in the town, will give an evening of readings, but the date has not yet been fixed.
The festival is supported by Charlbury Town Council, the Geoffrey Walton Practice, Fairfax and Co and Wesley-Barrell Ltd. It starts on Saturday, June 1, and finishes on Wednesday, July 5.
