A man who punched and stamped on a night clubber in Oxford has been told to expect jail.
Shazad Khan, 20, attacked Gary Wells at the Park End Club on December 23.
He denied punching and stamping on Mr Wells, but a jury at Oxford Crown Court yesterday (November 14) convicted him of intentionally causing grievous bodily harm.
Judge Christopher Compston told him: "Be under no illusion that prison is what you richly deserve and what you will get."
Khan, of St Martin's Road, Rose Hill, Oxford, was remanded in custody until December 6 pending pre-sentence reports.
