SIR -- Is there anyone else who, like me, is very annoyed by the dictatorial way Sainsbury's are behaving in trying to make everyone change to their Nectar card?
Besides not having a credit card, not shopping at Debenhams and knowing that petrol at Sainsbury's is cheaper than their deal at BP outlets, common sense tells me that the cost of the changeover and running the scheme will be passed onto customers one way or another.
Last week at Sainsburys in Kidlington, I was told by the innocent teenager on the till that I would have to change over. When I replied that I would not, she repeated that I would have to. She looked at me in amazement when I said: 'No -- I don't have to shop here'.
