Oxford Fairtrade Coalition is using a church cafe to promote Fairtrade shopping.
Lord Mayor of Oxford Gill Sanders helped launch the initiative at St Michael's Church cafe in Cornmarket Street on November 16.

The initiative is part of the city's bid to win Fairtrade status by March, by supporting producers who do not exploit farmers in developing countries.
The cafe will be open on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 11am-2pm until Christmas selling fairtrade goods such as tea, coffee and jewellery
