Students limbering up for a production of the comedy musical Falsettos at Keble College launched a cryptic publicity stunt on the streets of Oxford.
Students sing to publicise their show
They sang Barmitzvah songs in Hebrew at 13 locations to advertise the show.
Songs from the show were also performed.
The work, written by William Finn, is about Jewish family life and homosexuality.
Marketing manager Lucy Callaghan said she was confident the unusual promotion tactics would attract a big audience for the opening night on November 18.
Falsettos, staged by student group Elsinore Theatre Company, runs at the new O'Reilly Theatre, Keble College, from November 18-23.
