Two eyesore sites in south Oxfordshire have been cleared after seven years of pressure from the district council.
Both are within the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty -- one at The Triangle in Benson and the other at Harcourt Hill Shaw in Nuffield.
From 1995 the sites were used to store a variety of things including abandoned car and caravans.
At one stage there were 40 caravans, some being lived in, on the two sites.
None of the uses had planning permission.
The district council tried to have them cleared after planning appeals and public inquiries refused to grant planning permission.
After three months' work by the owner, the sites have now been cleared.
