Allison Hirst took home a team gold medal and a bronze in the women's Vet 35 race at the Masters International Cross Country in Northern Ireland.
Allison HirstRepresenting England in the Belfast race, the Headington Roadunner finished strongly over a slippery course to cross the line in fourth place overall - third in the Vet 35 category.
Together with Michelle Wannel (Exeter) and Helen Burrell (Nottingham), the England team won the gold medal.
Also making the trip to Belfast as a travelling reserve, was birthday boy John Exley (Oxford City).
Exley ran well in the following open race, and was the first home in the Vet 55 category on his 55th birthday!
