Alchester athletes were out in force at the weekend in a variety of local races.
These included the Buckingham 10k road race and the Herbert's Hole 10k multi-terrain challenge at Chesham.
The Herbert's Hole Challenge proved to be a gruelling afair over the single-lap course.
Gary Clench was the first Alchester athlete to cross the line, running well up the hill at the start.
Despite the poor conditions and the tricky course, Clench maintained a good pace to finish in 46mins 34secs.
Julie Bennett completed the race in 52.57, despite carrying an ankle injury, while Dave Howse came home in 56.15.
The the Buckingham 10k, Steve Howard continued his recent good form, recording an impressive 39.07.
Lawrie Stratford completed his first run for the club with a sub-48 minute performance, while Hazel Howard finished just behind in 48.01.
