Mid Oxon Schools Under 15s have been confirmed as winners of their ESFA Wizards Trophy tie against Reading - a match which was abandoned deep into injury time after a parent allegedly attempted to attack the referee.
Mid Oxon were leading 3-2 in the third-round tie at Witney United on Saturday when the father of a Reading player, who had just been sent off, came on to the pitch.
He had to be restrained as he kicked out at the referee, who abandoned the match.
But now the ESFA have ruled that the result should stand.
In the draw for the fourth round, Mid Oxon must travel to either Coventry or Solihull. The tie is due to be played by Saturday, December 7.
