Dave Jennings fired a four-goal salvo as North Oxford dumped holders Oxford Community Church out of the Premier Cup 5-3 in the preliminary round.
Jennings produced a superb display of finishing, despite suffering a head injury early in the game.
Neil Hanlon scored North's other goal, while Crispin Angood (2) and James Riley were on target for Church.
In the Premier Division, Phil Graham hit a five-timer in Gladiators' 13-2 demolition of Great Milton.
Colin Scully was also on song with a hat-trick, and Steve Stone (2), Colin Lewis (2) and Nigel Roberts completed their tally. Mark Simms bagged a brace for Milton.
In Division 1, Marvin Solomon was in prolific form with four goals in Bakels Crusaders' 11-0 home win over Marston Friar.
Gary Hodgins, Craig Anderson, Terry Hankins, Neil Tattersall, Mark Abbott, Alan Clark and Mark Wickens were also on target.
Crusaders are hot on the heels of leaders North Oxford Res, who won 2-1 at Union Street.
North's scorers were Geoff Sackey and Robert Townsend, while Paul Harrington replied for Street.
Donnington Old Boys won 3-2 at home to Dukla Marsh, with goals form Lee Sheridan, Steve Tooke and Morris.
