Adventurers are wanted to scale Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa and raise funds for firefighters and their families.
Firefighters Steven Barclay, 45, who works from Rewley Road station in the centre of Oxford and Doug Minter, 46, who is based at Abingdon Fire Station, need 60 volunteers to join them in their climb, in April.
Mr Minter said: "If you do decide to take part, you will not only experience the pleasure of successfully conquering the largest freestanding mountain in the world, but will enjoy some of the most breathtaking views in the whole of Africa."
The pair are aiming to raise funds for the Fire Services National Benevolent Fund, which helps injured firefighters, widows and poorly children.
Anyone interested in taking part can call Mr Minter on 01235 202697 or e-mail: doug.minter@oxfordshire.gov.uk
