Jo Clayton and her volunteers are surrounded by thousands of shoeboxes -- and not a shoe in sight.
Children at Glory Farm Primary School collect the shoe boxes
Instead, the boxes have been filled with small gifts to send to children in eastern Europe who otherwise would never get a Christmas present.
They have been filled by schoolchildren across Oxfordshire, and more are coming in every day from other schools.
Volunteers or people with gifts can contact Mrs Clayton, of the charity Operation Christmas Child, on 01491 614333 or 612210.
Pupils have filled more than 230 shoe boxes with goodies and useful items for children in need overseas.
Children at Glory Farm Primary School, Hendon Place, Bicester collected toiletries, sweets, colouring books plus pens and pencils to put into the boxes for the Samaritans Purse international relief scheme.
