The Zodiac nightclub in Oxford is to be told to remove "unsightly" flyposting, following complaints from residents.

Oxford City Council's east area committee last night (November 20) agreed to look into licensing laws and restrictions that could be imposed on the club over posters advertising events.

Residents said flyposters on street lights, pelican crossings and railings, making the area unsightly. The committee agreed, and will ask Zodiac, in Cowley Road, to think carefully about where its posters were placed.
